This is a very simple way to have homemade steel cut oats. Deliciously nutritious, and steamy hot for the colder weather to come.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of steel cut oats
  • 4 cups of unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 2 apples, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 2 Tablespoons of pure maple syrup

Combine all of the above, stir and allow to cook overnight in slow cooker on low for 8 hours.
